For Assassin's Creed Shadows, we wanted to push the overall fidelity while keeping in mind the constraints of an open world. In collaboration with outsource artists(modeling/Uvs), I made textures very medium and small statues while keeping a good level of detail both macro and micro. All texturing is done with tileables and trims. We also heavily used global normals and LUTs to get macro and micro level details and reusability.
